GrowingRAW workshop
Fertility in the Organic Garden
Saturday 21st April, Hout Bay, Cape Town
We will be discussing, experiencing, setting-up all sorts of Organic fertility strategies for the Organic food garden -
composting, earthworm composting, leaf mould, teas and tonics, mulch, and more.
The soil is the starting point of any garden - and food gardens are especially hungry! - as we take out of the garden (harvest)
we need to make sure that we are putting more than we take out back in. A fertility strategy is essential! - and this is the content of this
workshop.
Healthy soil grows healthy plants. The more nutrients in your soil for the plants to eat, the more nutrients there will be in the plants
when you eat them! This is what real natural health is all about.

The mandala garden just looks fantastic! I want one too! :-) You are a great teacher and with your wise and humble nature we learned a lot.
Loved how excited worm poo made you! :-) Clearly you love what you do!
I would love to come to one of your theory classes too. Carolyn
What a wonderful hands-on (or rather hands-in) experience of building a garden from dirt to abundance in one day -
can't wait to start applying this learning in my own patch! Anya

Felt amazing to see and experience this bare piece of ground transforming into such a potent abundant place within such a short time,
and to really be part of the creation..
..a privilege to walk the mandala first as bare earth and then as place of new natural planting
... brimming with anticipation for how it will all unfold!
